What is the Black Girl Ai Virtual Academy?
A free, safe, online learning experience
The Black Girl Ai Virtual Academy is a free online platform that introduces Black and Brown girls (ages 8–12) to artificial intelligence, prompt engineering, tech history, ethics, and hands-on creative activities. Guided by Kehlani, our friendly AI Learning Guide, girls discover that technology belongs to them too — and that their imagination is what makes AI powerful.
No registration required to access any lesson. Girls can learn immediately.
Privacy-first: we don't collect children's personal information.
8 full lessons plus discovery cards, glossary, and activities.
Always free — no paywalls, no subscriptions for learning content.
Why AI Education Matters

How Adults Can Support Learning
Explore lessons together — sit alongside your girl and ask her to teach you what she learned.
Use the lessons at home or in the classroom — each lesson takes about 15 minutes.
Celebrate progress! The Academy awards XP and badges for completed lessons.
Encourage the 'Try It' activities — creativity is where the real learning happens.
Talk about digital safety (Lesson 7) together — it's designed to spark conversation.
Progress is saved on the device, so the same girl can continue where she left off.
For Schools & Organizations
The Black Girl Ai Virtual Academy curriculum is free to use in classrooms, after-school programs, community centers, and nonprofit organizations. No registration, logins, or student data required — just open the site and start learning.
